Dream Interpretation

Dream Interpretation

For centuries, dreams have been a challenge for mankind’s understanding. Important through the ages, dreams have been looked upon by many cultures as messages from the gods/God, and, more recently, as communication, often masked in symbols, from one’s higher conscious mind to the conscious mind. The class will explore recalling, recording, and controlling dreams; how universal dream symbols function in dreams; and interpretations of nightmares, recurrent dreams, “lucid dreams,” and common dreams of falling, flying, etc. Analyzing dreams can be fascinating and fun, and can expand our awareness as we consider that “An uninterpreted dream is lake an unopened letter” (The Talmud). Bring dreams to be interpreted. Suggested reading: Elsie Sechrist, Dreams: Your Magic Mirror.
