Participate in classes that leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed, yet energized and in a heightened state of awareness. For every level, beginners through advanced. Instruction will include yoga deep breathing, gentle stretches, a variety of asanas, often including partner stretches, and meditation at the end of class. Recommended reading: Yoga, Youth, and Reincarnation by Jess Stearn, A Light on Yoga by Iyengar, The Complete Illustrated Book on Yoga by Vishnudevananda, and Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. A teacher of yoga and meditation since 1974, Karen began training and certifying yoga teachers in 1998. She has certification as an advanced yoga teacher, received further certification and training at the Sivananda Yoga Retreat Center in the Bahamas, and is certified by Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200
